INTERPOL Deputy Secretary General Darrin Jones Visits our University

On the morning of September 23, Darrin Jones, Deputy Secretary General of INTERPOL, and his delegation visited the university. Zeng Haiyan, Secretary of the University Party Committee, and Liu Donghua, University Party Committee Member and Vice President, met with Mr. Jones and his delegation on the Muxidi Campus. The two sides extensively exchanged views on strengthening cooperation between the university and INTERPOL in areas such as international legal talent cultivation and academic exchanges. Mr. Jones highly commended our university's achievements in cultivating international legal talents and the development of its international policing and police liaison programs. He expressed his commitment to actively promote INTERPOL's support for the university's development in these talent cultivation areas, aiming to achieve more substantive outcomes in bilateral cooperation.

During his visit, Mr. Jones and his delegation toured the University History Museum, where they spoke highly of our university's profound historical heritage, distinctive characteristics in education, and its fruitful achievements.

Representatives from the INTERPOL Office of the International Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, and from School of International Police Studies and Office of International Exchange of our university participated in the above activities.
