From July 21 to 27, Mr. Wang Yi, the Vice Party Committee Secretary and President of the university led a delegation on an exchange visit to Hong Kong and Macau. During the visit, the delegation met with Mr. Wong Sio Chak, the Secretary for Security of Macau, Mr. Chow Yat-ming, the Commissioner of Police of the Hong Kong Police Force, Mr. Kwok Joon-fung, the Director of Immigration of Hong Kong, as well as Mr. Chan Joon-sun, the Deputy Commissioner of Police of the Hong Kong Police Force.
The delegation also conducted visits to the Macau Public Security Police Force, the Macau Port Zone at Hengqin Port, the Hong Kong Police Force, and the Hong Kong Immigration Department. They also paid a visit to the Academy of Public Security Forces of Macau, the Hong Kong Police College, Immigration Service Institute of Training and Development, and the University of Macau. Additionally, the delegation called on the Police Liaison Departments of the Liaison Offices of the Central People’s Government in Macau and Hong Kong, reconnected with alumni in both of the two regions, and exchanged views on enhancing training for disciplinary forces in Hong Kong and Macau and advancing police cooperation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
