Vice President LIU Donghua Meeting with 18th School-stationed Police Officer from Hong Kong Police Force

On the afternoon of August 27, 2024, Vice President LIU Donghua met with WANG Lin, Chief Inspector of Police, the 18th school-stationed police officer dispatched by the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF), at the Muxidi Campus.

Vice President LIU extended a warm welcome to Chief Inspector WANG Lin on behalf of the University. He spoke highly of the outstanding performance and positive contributions made by previous school-stationed police officers from HKPF and expressed his hope that Chief Inspector WANG would fully leverage her professional expertise during her tenure to actively contribute to the exchange and training of police officers between the Mainland and Hong Kong. Vice President LIU emphasized that the practical cooperation between the University and HKPF over the years has fostered profound friendship and yielded fruitful results. Both sides, he noted, should remain committed to safeguarding national security and the long-term prosperity and stability of Hong Kong, further deepen collaboration in training law enforcement personnel, and strive to achieve new breakthroughs.

Chief Inspector WANG stated that serving as the 18th school-stationed police officer at the University is both a significant responsibility and a great honor. She expressed her commitment to cherishing the opportunity, upholding the fine traditions of previous officers, and engaging in mutual learning and joint improvement with faculty and students.

Also present at the meeting were Chief Inspector CHEN Zhixuan, the 17th school-stationed police officer from HKPF, as well as representatives from School of Public Security Management and Office of International Cooperation.
