On the afternoon of November 19, Lieutenant General Pulatov, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, led a high-level delegation on a visit to the People's Public Security University of China (PPSUC). The visit focused on advancing key initiatives regarding Sino-Uzbek cooperation in police talent development and faculty exchanges. The delegation included senior law enforcement officials such as Mr. Gordeyev, Deputy Director of the Presidential Office of Uzbekistan; Colonel Abdullazakov, Director of the Tashkent Regional Department of Internal Affairs; Colonel Alisherov, Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs; Lieutenant Colonel Zubaydullayev, Head of the Cyber Security Center of the Criminal Investigation Department; Lieutenant Colonel Nurullayev, Deputy Head of the Department for Ideological Education and Personnel; Lieutenant Colonel Alikulov, Deputy Head of the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs and Director of Public Security; and Mr. Nurmatov, Assistant to the Minister of Internal Affairs. Police Liaison Officer Chen Yu from the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan and diplomats from the Uzbek Embassy in China accompanied the delegation. Zeng Haiyan, Secretary of the PPSUC Party Committee, and Liu Donghua, Member of the University Party Committee and Vice President, held working talks with the delegation and accompanied them on a visit to the University History Museum. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on matters including joint cultivation of Sino-Uzbek police talents and faculty exchanges in key disciplines, reaching a friendly consensus.
Zeng Haiyan welcomed the delegation. She noted that under the guidance of the Chinese Ministry of Public Security and the Uzbek Ministry of Internal Affairs, PPSUC has maintained close, frequent, and fruitful exchanges with institutions such as the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, establishing an extensive platform for friendly exchanges between the reserve forces of the two countries' police services and their youth. She expressed the willingness, under the guidance of the Chinese Ministry of Public Security, to take this visit of Minister Pulatov as an opportunity to further expand practical cooperation in areas including joint talent cultivation, faculty resources sharing, collaborative course development, and joint scientific research, actively promoting the implementation of relevant cooperative projects to achieve more substantial outcomes.
Pulatov thanked the Chinese side for the warm reception and commended of PPSUC's contributions to promoting Sino-Uzbek police law enforcement cooperation. He stated that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan is willing to work alongside the Chinese Ministry of Public Security to continue supporting cooperation between PPSUC and institutions like the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan. He expressed strong anticipation for new progress and breakthroughs in faculty exchange programs, further enhancing the positive narrative of police academic exchange and cooperation between the two countries.
That afternoon, the university leadership accompanied the delegation on a visit to the University History Museum. Pulatov attentively learned about the university's curriculum system, enrollment procedures, and student cultivation model, expressing high appreciation for the achievements made in talent cultivation and disciplinary development.
