International Policing Issues Research Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) was established in September 2019 as an non-entity scientific research institution by the university to serve the nation's foreign policy and support the broader context of international security and law enforcement cooperation. In June 2021, the center was successfully selected as Ministry of Education Registered Center for National and Regional Studies.
As a joint research platform established by our university and the International Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, the Center serves as a crucial platform for theoretical research on international policing. Its research focus is closely aligned with the needs of the Communist Party Committee of the Ministry of Public Security in international law enforcement cooperation.It is dedicated to accurately grasping the main pulse of national and international security, steadily expanding its research scope and content guided by major projects and key areas, systematically analyzing the international challenges currently facing China's security governance as well as the root causes of difficulties in law enforcement cooperation and effectively playing the role of public security universities in strategic planning and in-depth research in international law enforcement cooperation.
