Engineering Research Center of Public Security Risk Prevention and Control,Ministry of Education

The Engineering Research Center for Public Security Risk Prevention and Control (hereinafter referred to as the "Center"), was established in October 2019 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It is an applied platform based at the People's Public Security University of China, dedicated to conducting technological breakthroughs and promote scientific research outcomes for the public security industry and police agencies nationwide.

The Center comprises five research support platforms: Public Security Risk Assessment and Predicative Early Warning Engineering Technology, Public Security Emergency Response Engineering Technology, Security Protection Engineering Technology, Criminal Psychological Assessment Technology, and Food, Drug, and Environmental Crime Detection Engineering Technology. Focusing on major demands in the field of public security risk prevention and control, the Center aims to advance key technology research and develop application platforms and application system integration solutions in the areas such as knowledge management and application in public security, security risk assessment for critical domain targets, effectiveness evaluation of security protection systems, and public security education. It actively promotes the integrated development of knowledge and technology in the field of public security risk prevention and control across government, industry, academia, research, and application, fully leveraging its role as a technology incubator and think tank to facilitate the integration of science and education and foster talent development through research.
