The Office of Scientific Research is the administrative department responsible for the planning and management of the university’s scientific research. It leads five offices: the general office, the office of scientific research planning, the office of project management, the office of scientific research achievements and awards (Achievement Transformation Center), and the office of scientific research platform operation. Its main responsibilities are as follows:
Preparing the medium- and long-term development plan for scientific research of the university, and establishing and refining the management system.
Managing the application, appraisal, implementation and final acceptance of scientific research projects, especially of significant research projects.
Managing the registration, evaluation, and intellectual property protection of scientific research achievements, and promoting the transformation of achievements.
Building scientific research platforms, and organizing academic activities, to promote resource sharing and collaborative innovation.
